Privacy Policy
Version 2.0 Last updated: April 20, 2026
Information We Collect and Store
- We collect and store the personal information needed to create and manage a Constralink account, which may include your full name, mobile number, email address, role in the platform (tradesperson, employer, or contractor), login credentials, and account status.
- For profile and matching purposes, we may collect and store your selected trade or specialization, years of experience, general location such as city or municipality and province, availability or hiring status, profile photo if you provide one, work history, training or seminar credentials, short bio, and other profile details you choose to submit.
- For employers and contractors, we may collect and store business or organization information where applicable, contact person details, project or manpower requirements, project locations, hiring activity, and related records needed to facilitate recruitment and workforce matching.
- We may also collect and store communication records, hire requests, access requests, approvals or declines, timestamps, notification preferences, device information, log data, and usage data needed to operate, secure, and improve the platform.
- We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Verification Information and Personal Documents
- To support manual account review, we may ask users to submit verification information. Tradespersons may submit a valid government-issued ID or a birth certificate. Employers or contractors may be asked to submit identity or business-related documents, depending on the account type and platform requirements.
- During the review process, Constralink may temporarily process the uploaded verification documents only for identity checking, legitimacy review, fraud prevention, platform safety, and compliance with applicable policies and laws.
- After the admin review is completed, uploaded personal verification documents are permanently deleted from the system and are not retained as part of the user's long-term stored profile data.
- What we retain after review is limited to the verification result and related review metadata, such as the verification status, document type submitted, review date, reviewer notes, and records necessary to show that a review took place.
How We Use Personal Information
- We use personal information to register and manage accounts, create profiles, match tradespersons with employers or contractors, support hiring decisions, and allow users to communicate through the platform.
- We use verification-related information to manually review accounts, reduce impersonation and misuse, protect users, and maintain trust and integrity within the platform.
- We may also use personal information to send notifications, maintain audit logs, respond to requests and complaints, investigate misuse, enforce the Terms of Use, improve app functionality, and comply with legal obligations.
Visibility of Profile Information and Privacy Controls
- Constralink is designed to follow a privacy-controlled access model. By default, other users should only see limited profile information necessary for initial matching, such as a tradesperson's name or display name, trade or specialization, general location, availability status, experience summary, and non-sensitive profile details approved for display.
- Sensitive information such as full phone number, email address, exact home address, full personal documents, and protected credentials should not be openly visible to other users by default.
- Where the platform provides profile access requests, employers or contractors must first request access before protected profile details or credentials become viewable, and the tradesperson may approve or decline that request.
- Constralink may store logs of access requests, approvals, declines, and profile views to promote accountability, transparency, and security within the platform.
- Tradespersons may also update their availability or indicate that they are already hired so that employers and contractors can view more accurate availability information.
Who We Share Data With
- We may share limited and relevant profile information with other users of the platform only to the extent needed for job matching, recruitment, hiring review, project staffing, and related platform functions.
- Protected profile details and credentials should only be shared through the platform's privacy controls, such as when access is granted by the tradesperson or when disclosure is otherwise authorized by the user or required by law.
- We may share data with service providers that support hosting, storage, security, analytics, notifications, moderation, and technical operations, but only for purposes related to operating and protecting Constralink.
- We may disclose information if required by law, lawful order, or government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the integrity of the platform.
Legal Basis and Data Privacy Compliance
- Constralink handles personal data in a manner intended to align with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other applicable laws, regulations, and privacy principles relevant to the platform.
- By creating an account and using the app, users acknowledge that their personal data may be processed for account administration, platform matching, verification, communication, safety, security, and compliance purposes.
- Where consent is required, Constralink should request it through clear notices and consent steps appropriate to the data being processed.
Security, Retention, and User Choices
- We apply reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or loss. However, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security.
- Except for uploaded personal verification documents that are permanently deleted after review, personal data may be retained only for as long as necessary to operate the app, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, support legitimate platform functions, and comply with legal obligations.
- Users may update certain account and profile details in the app and may manage privacy-related options that are made available within their account or profile settings.
- If a user requests account deletion or raises a privacy concern, Constralink may review the request and process it subject to applicable legal, security, and recordkeeping requirements.
